WHAT TO BRING TO THE SESSION and WHAT TO WEAR

• good mood – your most important asset!
• a few different outfits for the variety will come handy – smart, casual but most of all, clothes you feel and look good in,
  • I suggest to bring 3 – 5 (or more) different tops for a varied look – simple in style (smart or casual) and comfortable to wear (e.g. shirt / T-shirt, dress, thin sweater, tank top, jacket etc.). I recommend one or two colours on one top – no signs or strong patterns.
  • As to actual colour, most of earthy / muted or neutral colours will work for business or acting headshots. More playful / colourful tops can also work depending on the headshots use case. Don’t use anything with bright neon colours and a colour too close to your skin tone. If you’re not sure about clothing, feel free to send me pictures of what you’re considering and I’ll let you know my thoughts.
• as for styling – natural looking make-up and tidy hair work best for ladies although you can also choose to have a heavier make-up if it suits the nature of the headshot – I work with a hair and make-up artists in case you want a professional to take care of that (at extra cost);
  as for guys – tidy hair (and beard if you wear one) will do!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The photo sessions are always light-hearted, relaxed and fun. If you are not sure about how to pose or look, and your practice in front of a mirror doesn’t look the best, no worries, I’ll guide you through certain steps tailored to you to show off your best features.

Depending on the type of the session, we go through different looks, moods and expressions and shoot multiple shots of each so you have plenty to choose from. We will review them together so you can see right there and then where we’re at and whether you want more photos and variations of a certain look.
